Events at: Don Whillans Memorial Hut

Stay in the legendary Rockhall Cottage built into the rocks of “The Roaches”.

The hut is just a short walk from the road and is seconds away from the lower tier climbs, enabling you to pop back for a morning cup of tea or decide to pop out and do a quick bit of climbing on the Friday evening (just don’t pick a three pitch route and forget your head torch!).

The number of beds is limited to 12 in the 2 bunkrooms at the cottage but there is camping nearby as well.

The Roaches offers an excellent range of gritstone climbing cross all grades, from Mod to E10, with a mix of single and multipitch climbs.
