Organiser: Stephen Mace
After a lot of looking into potential sites and realising that there isn’t a huge amount of sport climbing on offer in the UK (or too high in the grades!), I have decided on a return to the more beginner-friendly Horseshoe Quarry. It has one of the largest number of lines in a single location on offer, and a good number of “beginner” friendly routes as well as plenty of harder options for those seeking more “interesting” climbs!
I realise sport climbing isn’t everyone’s cup of tea so I have the idea that we could do a mixed trip – one day of sport on the Saturday followed by one day of trad on the Sunday if people would prefer this, let me know your thoughts.
I have booked us in for Hardhurst Farm campsite for the Friday and Saturday night, their details are below:

Let me know if interested and your travel plans and I’ll try to put people needing/offering lifts in touch.
Thanks,
Steve
