We will be staying in the Bunkhouse on Gillside Farm, Glenridding, at the foot of Helvellyn. There’s a modern self-catering kitchen and pubs, cafés and shops nearby. Cost £14 per night. (See ‘Bunkhouse’ link above for more info).

This is ideally placed for Helvellyn and Patterdale; lots of great walking, climbing or scrambling nearby depending on the weather.

There are still a few spaces left so if you’d like to come just let me know.

I’m also happy to coordinate transport if you’re looking for or can offer a lift.

(Little note: this is not a beginners meet; all participants need to be self-reliant and fully equipped for winter conditions).
