Bank Holiday weekend in Cornwall

Our traditional Easter meet in Cornwall. As usual we will be staying at Trevaylor campsite (£6.50 pppn). The campsite has a small shop that sells food and the odd bit of climbing gear. There is also a bar on site. A Co-op, cashpoint, fish & chips, pubs and an excellent pasty shop are in St. Just.

The Queens Arms at Botallack is just a few hundred yards away from the campsite, if people are interested I will book some tables for at least the Saturday night there. Please tell me if you want to eat there.

Cornwall has lots of single and multi-pitch sea cliff climbing of all grades from Diff to E9, mostly on excellent granite. Routes are generally well protected. Although many crags are tidal and require abseil access such as the excellent Chair Ladder. Others like Bosigran are straightforward non-tidal walk-ins. Despite the good range of grades, I’d recommend relative beginners find a more experienced partner.
