Bank Holiday meet in Cornwall

Organiser: Guy Reid
Wake up and smell the pasties
This trip has probably become a bit of an IMC tradition, but with stunning locations offering fantastic climbing across the grades what’s not to like. And with The Bank Holiday weekend being later this year here’s hoping for wall-to-wall good weather.
The actual holiday runs from Good Friday – 19th April – through to Easter Monday – 22nd April though people extend in all different ways.
We will be staying at Trevaylor Campsite http://www.cornishcamping.co.uk/ and often we take dinner at The Queen’s Arms http://www.queensarms-botallack.co.uk/ on one night (at least).
Please note:

This is an informal meet so those attending are responsible for making their own arrangements re travel and climbing partners, but I will try to put people in touch if you let me know you are looking for people to climb or travel with. Please be aware that though there are some venues that do not require abseil approaches mostly the area is justly famous for its sea cliffs which are wild and exciting but cannot be treated lightly. It is important to be competent the in the skills needed. This is not a meet suitable for complete beginners to outdoor climbing – our beginners’ meets are coming up later in the year. If you have any doubts about your own preparedness for this meet please just ask.
