The Spring Bank Holiday meet will be in the Lake District again this year. Langdale is my preferred venue, with several good low level crags in the valley and a couple of top quality sunny south-facing mountain crags to aim for. Plus there’s plenty of great hill walking and scrambling and relatively easy access to other climbing and walking venues in the South Lakes.

Our normal Langdale campsite is at Baysbrown Farm www.baysbrownfarmcampsite.co.uk. A pub meal can be had at the Wainwright Inn in Chapel Style within walking distance.

This will be an informal meet so people will need to make their own arrangements for climbing partners and travel arrangements but, as usual, I’ll do my best to put people in touch.

Please let me know if you are planning to attend this meet. It would also help if you could let me know when you hope to travel and whether you would like or can offer a lift, whether you would like to be put in touch with other possible climbing partners and whether you would like me to book a pub meal for you on Sunday evening.
