IMC Photo Competition, 2005

Here are the rules:

1. You can enter up to three photographs.
2. The photographs can be of anything that is relevant to Ipswich Mountaineering Club activities. For example: climbing walking, skiing, drinking, landscapes, action shots, etc.
3. The photos must have been taken by the person submitting the photo
4. The photos can be from any date.
5. To enter a photo into the competition, send it to Simon Chandler by post (for prints or slides) or email as an attachment. Just ask if you need advice. Prints will be scanned by Simon then returned to the contributor within 1 week of receipt. Slides will take a couple of weeks to return because I have to borrow the equipment. The postal address is: S Chandler, Martlet House, Sandy Lane, Barham, Ipswich, Suffolk, IP6 0PB.
6. Each photo that you submit should include a brief caption explaining what it is, and when it was taken.
7. As they are entered, the photographs will appear on the web (anonymously)
8. Between 05:00 on Wednesday 2nd November 2005 and 17:00 on Wednesday 16th November 2005, club members will be able to vote for their favourite photo. Voting will be done by completing a simple on-line form.
9. Each member of the IMC can cast two votes. One for their favorite photo, and one for their second favorite. These will be allocated scores of 2 points and one point respectively.
10. The winning photo will be the one with the most points at the end of voting. In the event of a tie the winner will be the photo with the greatest number of 'first choice' votes. it's still a tie - then we'll declare it a draw!
11. The competition is open to all IMC members, committee included, since voting will be by all members and the photographer's name will be kept anonymous at the time of voting.
