Details: If you have never attended one of these meets, the idea is to team experienced climbers with less experienced to give either a taster of what it's like to climb outdoors or to help you improve various skills and techniques.


Climbing harnesses and helmets can be supplied if I know in good time beforehand to get it organised, although it would be a good idea to have your own climbing shoes. All other climbing gear such as ropes, hardware etc will be provided by club members. You will need to be self sufficient for your accommodation (tent!), sleeping bag, cooking gear etc.


We usually travel up on the Friday afternoon/evening so we can be a bit more organised on the Saturday morning - at least that's the theory! - and do our best to maximise bodies per vehicle. When responding, please let me know if you are willing to drive your own vehicle and the number of spaces available or if you will need a lift.

Established IMC members please let me know if you can help for the weekend and whether you consider yourself leader or assistant.
